Your Hair Talks?

Saturday, 17 March 2012
I never blog about style or fashion stuff coz I don't feel the need to. I have my own style statement and I stick to it but love following some fashion blogs just because they are madly creative. I appreciate Creativity to it's most widest and brightest horizons. It's about who you are, what you feel about yourself and how you want people to see you. Style and  being stylish is a very interesting thing. Women can be so confounding at times. Sometimes they carry "that look" like a cake walk and sometimes have got to work on it. I mean ,it's all part of building your self esteem,I guess.

They say, every action of a person talks not a mole but mountains. The way you talk, the way you respond to people's questions ,you know ,in general, etiquette is definitely something.
But did you know your hair talks too?

They say women with curly hair are unruly, or they are not in conform. They are pretty much rule breakers and the ones who do anything but stay put within their line of control. They are dominating but loving and lovable. It's said that Curly heads have the zest for life.
Not saying straight haired ones are not, dummy! ;) But straight haired ones are more organized and mainly PREDICTABLE and not all laid back either. They are people who are cliched. Don't argue that I'm biased but it's what "they say" . :)

Straight Hair is beautiful.
So is wavy. And so SO is curly.
It's just that some people give you those looks at your curly hair like you made a faux pas(ofcourse that is coz we curly heads look electrocuted sometimes! MY *weeps*) .Like you are hardly unkempt or something. Hellooooo... wake up people! Curls are so in and I am all votes for those who promote curly hair. Coz it is NOT that bad, really.

I remember I had lush locks of curly hair as a child & now too ,though the intensity has slightly reduced.I love strands of curls alone.I abhor frizz. So I use my Dove shampoo and Sunsilk conditioner(yea,it works just awesome!) and boom! My hair's done! My hair has been the utmost point of worry simply coz personally it is unpredictable (like me!), it looks beautiful only during those days when nobody is there to admire*So vain!*. And on the day I go out for a family party/function/friends day out or something ..those will be my worst hair days. But I can proudly say Now those days are all gone. I experimented a lot, A LOT and found Dove+Sunsilk Conditioner is super duper cool.

Results : Soft hair and bouncy curls..And that is what I want!!!

And my Awesome hair days simply catapult me to cloud nine! So this post is mostly about me being all happy and the analytic self that I always am ,even for small things. :)

~~**So that's my mini DIY project .LOL! It all comes part of experimenting and DO-It-Yourself kinda thing.I found this (shampoo+conditioner)combination on my own! Ha! **~~~

Hair Love to ya all :)
"These are not curls on my head,it's the freggin' awesomeness trying to find a way out" -Anonymous. So no matter how clownish your hair looks,Love it! It'll just grow lovelier and bouncier. :)

Apologies

Tuesday, 13 March 2012
Firstly my heart felt apologies to all my fellow bloggers out there to whom I still have NOT  replied in my comments section. I have been so busy that I had time ONLY to breathe.Busy with PG admissions and project deadlines and didn't access internet.

I promise to each and everyone of you- I'll keep up with you and remain in pace sooner or later. And forgive me if it gets delayed! Coming back to blog finally feels home.My lovely Second Home :)

Gee, that google image is a simple gesture to convey my apologies ;) God. I really felt lifeless having not blogged for like,5 days? Now,I'm just gasping for a breath of fresh air. I feel so alive! Hurray! :)

Missed ya! Luv ya all! :)
Back to blog-o-zone ;)

Second home

Monday, 6 February 2012
Hello people! It's been just five days of being away from my blog but it feels like eons!

I miss this space.Blogosphere has become second home to me.When my little cousins or friends ask what I'm doing. I tell them I'm busy with a new "project" and they run away leaving me surrounded with my own thoughts; celebrating my solitary influx of creative outpour.

A day taken out, just to READ
I was just reading so many people's blogs. It feels awesome how we people of the same platform delve into a world we create with all our own might and build it upto the heights of a beautiful castle! I admire bloggers. It's made me develop a new sense of respect for people of our kind ;) Not trying to discriminate the non-bloggers but I really admire the fact that people come up with the most unthinkable kind of productive blogs that I'm SO engulfed into. I'm forever engrossed in reading/commenting on exceptional blogs. The connect is so strong that I'm almost breathing only blogs now. People who love me most, hate that about me! They feel like this blog is my other half or something, stealing away all those precious moments from them .Such has been the distaste. However,I have that under control.

Completely manageable! :P{So I'm getting no emotional threats as of now.*wink*}

Till then,I adore ya all! ;)

The essence of creating a rarity lies in not being afraid to tread those untread paths.
It lies in dropping that every inhibition! Amen.

Finding your voice

Wednesday, 11 January 2012

"It took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent. "
-Madeleine Albright

This is one quote I most connect with. My focus here is more on finding our voice, finding our light of creativity and taking it to levels that surpass all qualms of anything and everything limiting the floodgates of creativity to crash open.

Each of us are bestowed with magnificent gifts for life! And we were blessed with gifts so we can focus all our energy into learning what life meant to teach us and how we shower that love back to our lives. In other words, what we communicate with The Universe and what the Universe in turn reciprocates lies our real answer!

Creative Energy
Research Psychologists feel "Creativity has been pegged to conducive environments, perfect collaborators, personality traits, serendipity, and even spiritual muses." And that increasing  innovative thinking, sometimes encourage patients to use artistic expression as a way to confront difficult feelings.

I can totally attest to that,Because ,I think that is how most of us evolved. Trying to express our souls through various ways writing, painting ,singing, dancing, photoshooting, making films and much more than my mind can think of at the moment!

When I was younger, like 15 or so,just like any teenager I had those awful mood swings. It was those very times I let my ideas run wild.I penned poems on nature, love, togetherness and when I missed a friend who moved out of the country,I had written poems of loneliness, sadness and more sorrow. I mean ,the reason is small, but the ideas and the thoughts we impact from it is far from huge. And deep down all the merry poems I wrote or a litany of morose matters that spewed through my diaries,I felt a small pleasure of contentment! I realised..."Oh,I can write!" And no sooner than that, realised ,writing was my vent. I mean ,not now,but during those cloudy days of my life.So that was phase I of my journey to creativity.

"Give voice to what you know to be true, and do not be afraid of being disliked or exiled. I think that's the hard work of standing up for what you see."
-Eve Ensler

Entering phase II ,I found the transition confounding. And mostly, challenging! That was because I was an amateur to blogging, I was perturbed by thoughts like, What kind of impressions people would harbour about me. I never knew then , that the secret to creativity was and is lying in the world of our own.Something you are giving back to yourself. Sharing something you already know but bringing it to life, like almost giving those inanimate energy of ours a voice to speak for itself(which in my case is writing, dancing, swimming and lots more). That is when I gauged my writing through My soul! My eyes! and My brain! I unconsciously & now consciously reassure myself that I  would never compare myself or view my work through the eyes or mind of someone else.

Because being YOU is unique.Being YOU is being YOU.And that's so special.Nobody in this world can stop you from choosing your means to express the rainbow colors of your soul. This planet houses more that a million people. And one brain is One mind-blowing powerhouse.So for more than a million people..multiply! Do the math.

In my line of thought, one needn't be dying to straighten out something he is faltering at.I think by accident( that's how we'd to call it right!;)) we attract thoughts to perfect ourselves.Like,I entered phase III without even knowing I did but it happened!!!

A creative soul is constantly self-searching and self-improvising! Overcoming the gnawing fear of breaking the stereotyped norms leading to what one can really call "creativity".It doesn't stem out of the known. But from the depths of our unknown. Our soul is an abyss of poems on love, joy and innocence. And our negativity is merely an outcome or a juicified version of our joys! It arises out of expectations we have from people we love. And it is in giving  life to our thoughts ,breathing that fresh breath of cherished life in our thoughts what becomes Creativity.

I'd like to sign off with one quote that'll keep lingering in your hearts and souls striking the chord of relentless love;of Creativity!

"We're changing ourselves to fit the world instead of changing the world to fit who we really are."
